Company

Family-owned. Industrial mindset.

2VI has produced foundry cores since 2008 in Terrossa di Roncà, Italy. One family, one trade, one conviction: core making is done with industrial method.

We were born from a passion for Italian industry and for the automotive sector. The core is the part nobody sees in the finished casting — and the one that decides whether the casting is good.

That is why we chose to treat a trade seen as craft as an industrial process: measured, repeatable, traceable. The same rigour on the prototype and on high volume.

We work with aluminium and iron foundries in Italy and Europe, with two technologies — shell moulding and inorganic — and one goal: less scrap at pour for those who choose us.

What industry means to us

  1. 01

    Process before hands

Written parameters, not handed down. Every core can be reproduced by anyone on the floor.

  2. 02

    Data before opinion

Sand, dimensions, strength: measured and recorded. If it isn't measured, it isn't controlled.

  3. 03

    Accountable for the casting

Our job ends when the casting comes out good, not when the core leaves the machine.

Field proof · Greenfoundry LIFE

«2VI inorganic cores tested in real production at Fonderie di Assisi: casting quality comparable to Cold-Box, gas formation significantly reduced.»

Production-scale test series on iron and steel automotive castings (turbochargers, exhaust manifolds), EU Greenfoundry LIFE project. Public data, not self-praise.
